2006 Pinot Noir "Thea's Selection" (Lemelson Vineyards)

Lemelson Vineyards, Thea's Selection Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon 2006

100% Pinot Noir

CINNAMON SPICE, PLUSH PLUMS, LEATHER & CHERRY

Eric Lemelson (son of inventor Jerome Lemelson who is second in patents to Thomas Edison) creates the Thea's cuvée named for his mother. This blending of barrels from his single vineyards is a masterpiece of fruit forward, soft plush tannins and elegance worthy of his mom. Starting with sweet cinnamon spice from French oak and following through with leather, cherry and balanced silky fruit, the Thea's is rich and plummy from start to finish.
