While this is a recent addition to the U.S. shelf, it's one of the oldest wine based aperitifs from Trento in Italy's Alpine north.  Made with Trebbiano & Cochinea with infusions of citrus and herbs by the same family for over 4 generations, the Cappelletti Americano (derived from "amer" meaning bitter) is referred to as "specialino" by the locals and is about as ubiquitous a happy hour libation in the Treveneto as Prosecco!

Serving Suggestion: Use in a classic Negroni or Venetian Spritz...or really take it to outerspace and mix with reposado tequila, coffee liquor, and Mole bitters..."Nanu Nanu!"
