100% Malbec CHOCOLATE, PLUM, BLUEBERRY, SMOKY & SILKY Just outside of the famous walled city of Carcassonne, Pierre Gau began planting his vineyards in the late 1800's. Today, his great-grandson Jacques continues to farm these old vines still planted on their original rootstock. This vineyard has never been plagued by the root louse Phylloxera because it is planted in a former lagoon which still flood-irrigates this dry vineyard land twice a year.
